Day 01 - 02

Arrival - Addis Ababa & City Tour

Up on arrival you will be meet Yama Ethiopia Tours representatives and be taken to your reserved hotel. on the next day make full day City tour in Addis Ababa to visit the National Museum to witness the reconstructed Skelton of Lucy, 3.2 million years old and the oldest child selam 3.5 million years and quite aged stone tools excavated and formed at several archaeological sites in different parts of the country including Hadar archeological sites. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 03

Adadi Mariyam - Melka Kuntre

Drive to the five pale ontological sites found around the Rock -Hewn church of Adadi Mariam to witness million years old stone tools including bifax lavalwa and obsidian axes choppers and needles with incredible dating. Continue the other officially formed for tourism pale ontological sites either by mule back or walking as the sites is found in close proximity. Melka Kuntre, Stone Age site (between 1.5 and 1.8 Million years old), contains many samples of Stone Age tools of the early Homosapiens. The collections are results of the excavations of the last four decades. The samples are well exhibited in show rooms and there is very good scientific explanation about Stone Age tools in general and the site in particular. O/n camping.

Day 04

Melka Kuntre - Tiya

Drive from Melka Kuntre to Butujara visiting Tiya stele field, is one of the sites for megalithic stelae. There are about 30 intricately carved stelae in the site. It is probably an ancient burial ground. The stelae are not soaring monoliths as in Axum, but they contain depictions of swords and various enigmatic symbols not found in other regions. then continue to the pale ontological site near Ziway and walk to the Mountain to find the obsidian stone tools on camping.

Day 05

Ziway - Dilla

Drive to Dilla to the registered stele field in its abundant number of monolithic stones at Tutu Fella near Dilla town on Dilla.

Day 06

Archeological sites of Tutu Fela & Tututi

You will be drive to visit also the stelae sites Tutu Fela (Tutu Fela is probably one of the most impressive sites contain about 80 ancient stelae which are variously carved with facial feature, phalluses etc. indicating the brave or sex of the person buried underneath), Tututi (lies on the hill 2.3km from the village of Chelba. It consists of some very large, tapering, generally un-carved standing stones with marking grave) and Socoro Sodo stelae field.

Day 07

Dilla - Konso

Drive to konso along the road that crosses the Kenya on border up to Yabello and turn to the right to visit to konso, another important pale-ontological site around konso.

Day 08

Konso Archeological Sites

Right after breakfast, an early morning drive will take you to a archeological sites in Konso those are well-known for the Australopithecus boisei fossils. You will have lunch in Konso. Then in the afternoon visit the Konso Village and their cultural landscape. Late in the afternoon back to the lodge.

Day 09

Langano - Arbaminch

Drive back to Langano through Arba Minch before beginning archeological sightseeing at Hadar near the Danakil depression.

Day 10

Hadar

Drive to Hadar through Nazareth and Awash enjoying the rift valley upper Archeological tour to Adadi mariam Tiya and Dilla art and the nearly situated rift valley escarpment near Awash then head to the final destination Hadar archeological site where they found the Lucy famous fossil. Overnight camping.

Day 11

Hadar

Spend the whole day discovering the nearby sites of archaeology and many other sites in the area. The Hadar remains include partial skeletons of Australopithecus afarensis, a key species in human evolution. Major paleontological work began at Hadar in the early 1970s .Overnight camping.

Day 12

Nazareth

Drive back to Nazareth and relax the last day of the trip.

Day 13

Nazareth - Addis Ababa

Drive back to Addis the capital city of Ethiopia and make final shopping at souvenir shops. and have farewell dinner at traditional restaurant, finally transfer to airport for your departure.
