| Day 02 | Fly to Lalibela & Visit Rock-Hewn Churches In the morning, meet your Yama Ethiopia Tours representative at your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela (ET 120, 11:50–13:05), then transfer to your reserved hotel. After a short break, set out on an excursion to the first group of the magnificent rock-hewn churches, carved from living volcanic tuff and registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. | Day 03 | Fly to Gondar & Sightseeing → Drive to Bahir Dar In the morning, transfer to the airport and fly to Gondar (ET123, 11:10–11:40). Known as the 'Camelot of Africa,' Gondar was the 17th- and 18th-century capital city of Ethiopia, home to emperors, warlords, and kings who built several castles within one compound. Visit the Royal Enclosure, surrounded by high stone walls (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Debre Berhan Selassie Church — meaning 'Trinity at the Mount of Light' — known for its rectangular structure, ceilings decorated with winged angels, and walls depicting biblical scenes, plus the Bathing Pool of King Fasiladas (used for Ethiopian Epiphany baptisms) and Qusequam Church.
