Day 01
Arrival in Addis Ababa & Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be met by your Yama Ethiopia Tours representative and taken to your reserved hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy sightseeing in Addis Ababa, including the National Museum (home of the famous 'Lucy' fossil skeleton), the Ethnological Museum, and Entoto Hills for a panoramic view of the city.

Day 02
Fly to Arba Minch, Excursion & Visit Dorze Village

In the morning, transfer to the airport to fly to Arba Minch (ET135, 07:40–08:45) and transfer to the lodge. After some rest, take a morning boat cruise on Lake Chamo to see giant Nile crocodiles, hippos, and water birds. In the afternoon, drive to the mountain village of Chencha to visit the Dorze people, known for their bamboo houses and cultivation of false banana, from which they extract their local bread called Kotcho.

Day 03
Drive to Turmi via Konso Village

In the morning, drive to Turmi, stopping on the way to visit the Konso tribal village. The Konso are known for their unique social life structure and agricultural terracing, and developed a defensive hilltop building style protected by fortifications — a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 04
Excursion to Omorate

Excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanach tribes across the Omo River by wooden local boat, then return to Turmi before driving to Jinka. In the late afternoon, visit a nearby Hamer tribe village, with the possibility of witnessing special occasion ceremonies such as weddings and rituals.

Day 05
Excursion to Karo & Drive to Jinka

In the cool morning, drive to Karo village for an excursion to see the Karo tribes with their interesting body decorations and scarification, then continue driving to Jinka.

Day 06
Excursion to Mursi Village & Fly Back to Addis

Enter Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribes' village. The Mursi are the best known of the Omo peoples, famous for the lip plate worn by the women — a tradition the Mursi consider a marker that distinguishes them from surrounding tribes. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport to fly back to Addis (ET 270, 14:05–15:20). In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant with folkloric dance before transferring to the airport for your international departure.
