Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be met by your Yama Ethiopia Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour of Addis Ababa, including the National Museum (home of the famous 'Lucy' fossil), St. George Cathedral, the Ethnological Museum, and Entoto Hill for a panoramic view of the city.

Morning after breakfast, visit Abiatta-Shala National Park, home to the breeding and feeding grounds of Flamingoes, Pelicans, Cormorants, and other aquatic birds. Then depart for Yirgalem's Aregash Lodge, with stops along the way for viewpoints, coffee, and a leg stretch. Take about an hour's hike in a Sidama village to engage with the local community and learn about their customs, traditions, and daily life, enriching the overall experience. Enjoy an evening coffee ceremony, and sometimes a hyena man show similar to that in Harar.

Take a morning boat cruise on Lake Chamo, one of the Rift Valley lakes, to see giant Nile crocodiles, hippos, and abundant water birds. Enjoy relaxing and swimming time at the lodge, and in the afternoon visit Forty Springs.

Today, take an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dasenach tribes across the Omo River by wooden local boat, then return to Turmi. In the late afternoon, visit the nearby Hamer tribe village, with the possibility of seeing special occasion ceremonies like weddings and rituals.

Enter Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribes' village. The Mursi are the best known of the Omo peoples, most famous for the lip plate tradition worn by women — an origin unknown, but one the Mursi consider distinguishes them from surrounding tribes. In the afternoon, drive back to Arba Minch.

In the morning, visit the local fish market at Lake Awassa, then proceed driving to Addis Ababa for remaining sightseeing and final shopping at a souvenir shop. Enjoy an evening farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant with folkloric dance, then transfer to the airport to fly back home.
